hi — you commented ROOM, so here it is. no email, no sign up.
one video of me sitting on my couch. four rooms off pinterest. nothing in my apartment moved and i never got up.
what's in here 👇
🛋️ film it right (this is most of it)

🛋️ first, film it right
90% of this is the filming, and it's free.
- phone propped up and not touched. if the camera moves, the illusion dies. a stack of books works.
- sit still. one position, the whole take. you're not acting, you're being a statue with a face.
- snap your fingers every time you want the room to change. loud. that's your cut point, and it's what makes it look like you're doing it.
- leave a gap — a second between snaps, minimum. i didn't leave enough, and i had to rebuild my whole edit around one snap.
- keep sitting still for three seconds after your last word. don't reach for the phone. if you do, your ending has nowhere to land and you'll lose the last beat of the video.
- film longer than you need, and film the whole thing three times.
